The Most Fantastic Party
I am stocking up on all the most lovely foods at the moment. My daughter is turning eighteen soon and we have decided to have a really jolly party for her. It will include family and friends and I will be catering for it. She has told me what food she would like and so I am selecting all the things she likes at the moment. Some of them are not that easy to get hold of, which is why I am starting early. I have enough Turkish figs and so I will just be hiding those away so no one eats them beforehand! I will need to get loads of Turkish pistachios as they are so delicious they always are very popular. I think that I will also get some pistachio paste as I always end up making my own and using up too many of the pistachios that I have bought to be eaten raw. I now need to check her list and work out all the ingredients I need for the cakes and get hold of those and then I will be ready. Well apart from all the preparation, baking and decorating are the only thing that I will have to do, the day before!
