Top Seven Techniques For Drop Card Marketing
Recently I had gone to a conference and one of the top leaders talked about what he does as far as marketing. Up until that day I had never heard of drop cards.
Drop cards look like a folded dollar bill. You can get them in different denominations but the most popular is the $100.00 bill. The idea is to “drop” these fake looking dollar bills in the hopes that whomever picks them up will read your message.
Here are seven simple techniques for Drop Card Marketing:
1. The next time you go to buy gasoline for your vehicle. Put a card in the slot where you put your credit/debit card. The person who buys gas after you will have to remove the card in order to pay for their gas. They will take a look at it, hopefully be interested in your offer and call you. But the great thing about this is if they aren’t interested, they most likely will throw it on the ground. You guessed it, the next person who drives up is going to see “money” on the ground and will most likely pick it up. The cycle continues…
2. We all get a bunch of junk mail, mostly from credit card companies. Open the mail and take out the envelope that is marked “no postage necessary”. Send your card in these envelopes. Most of the people who are opening these envelopes, would love to find a way to make more money.
